The School has a long tradition of providing financial aid to exceptional students whose families could not otherwise afford a BGS education, which continues. 

By supporting the Bursary Fund, you are opening the doors of a Brisbane Grammar School education to boys of character and promise who may not otherwise have the means to access it. Your generosity helps ensure that talent, aspiration, and determination—not financial circumstance—shape the trajectory of a boy’s life.

The BGS Bursary Fund was established to build a bursary endowment in perpetuity. With the principal invested and preserved, the income generated is used to give access to BGS students on a needs basis. A bursary refers to funding granted to an academically suitable student in financial need.
