Brisbane Grammar School’s boarding bursaries are designed to open the door to a transformative education for talented students from regional and remote Australia who may not otherwise have access to the opportunities available at BGS. Made possible through the significant support of The Lighthouse Foundation and other generous donors, these means-tested bursaries provide students with the opportunity to board at BGS and benefit from an outstanding education, while becoming part of a vibrant and supportive school community. BGS plans to offer four boarding bursaries each year for students entering Years 7–10.

For students from regional and remote communities, the opportunity to attend Brisbane Grammar School can be life-changing. At the same time, their presence enriches BGS, strengthening the diversity, character and fabric of our school community.
