Beyond the Blue: The Class of 2026 Year Group Bursary
Together, you can provide boys with life-changing opportunities.
Year Group Bursary Program
As they approach the end of their time at BGS, the Class of 2026 has chosen to mark its legacy not by looking back on its own achievements, but by creating opportunities for those who will follow.
Throughout their years at the School, these students have benefited from an education that has challenged them academically, developed their character and opened doors to a wide range of opportunities. The Class of 2026 recognises that access to those opportunities is something many young people may never experience, not because of a lack of ability or ambition, but because of circumstances beyond their control.
In response, the cohort established the Class of 2026 Year Group Bursary to help ensure that talented and deserving boys can access a BGS education regardless of their financial circumstances. Through both general needs-based assistance and targeted support for students from rural and regional communities, First Nations backgrounds, and refugee families, the bursary will help remove barriers, broaden access, and create life-changing opportunities for young people to thrive at Brisbane Grammar School.
The bursary reflects a belief that the true value of a BGS education extends beyond the individual. It is about recognising the opportunities that have been provided by parents, teachers, mentors and those who came before, and accepting a responsibility to create those same opportunities for future generations.
For the Class of 2026, this is an opportunity to leave something meaningful behind. Long after they have graduated, their collective generosity will continue to support boys whose talent, character and potential deserve the chance to flourish.
Each gift contributes to a legacy that reaches far beyond a single year level, helping future students access an education that can change the trajectory of their lives and, in turn, the lives of others.
*All gifts, regardless of size, make a difference and are tax deductible.
