Dugald Parry Bursary
Dugald Parry was a gifted athlete, well-rounded scholar and all-round good bloke. Raised by loving parents, as one of 4 boys, Dugald was provided with plenty of opportunity albeit a grounded perspective, which was never taken for granted. He was a friend to many, where never a bad word was spoken, and always provided an ear when it was needed.
Unfortunately, medical issues presented during his early teenage years; and from years 9-12 his schooling life was significantly impacted. Dugald was the type to soldier on; he continued his school attendance, sporting participation and amazingly confronted life’s challenges with good humour and a grounded nature. He built enduring friendships with his school mates and was supported by the wider school community.
His core support came from an amazing family, and a wide variety of close friends from all parts of his life. Dugald battled his medical ailments for many years after school but always maintained dignity and the ability to put everyone else before himself, with a true sense of humility.

In honour of Dugald, give the gift of a BGS education. Together, we can provide boys with life-changing opportunities.
